Greenhouse gases: Carbon dioxide (CO2), Methane (CH4), Nitrous oxide (N2O), synthetic gases. In 1990, the method of measuring CO2 changed.
CO2-equivalence: sum of all greenhouse gases; non-CO2-emissions have been converted according to their global warming potential (IPCC 1999).
