Trust in parliament in % 2006: proportion of population with trust - By political orientation and country

Definitions/Comments: Political orientation: Self-evaluation on a scale from 0 (left) to 10 (right): left: values 0–3; centre: values 4–6; right: values 7–10.

Question wording: ‘Using this card, please tell me on a score of 0–10 how much you personally trust each of the institutions I read out. 0 means you do not trust an institution at all, and 10 means you have complete trust. National parliament’.

Answer categories: Percentages correspond to the respondents who indicated values between 6 and 10 on a scale from 0 to 10 for the national parliament.
