Use of the media 2006 – At least once a week in internet

Definitions/comments: Educational levels: low: ISCED 0–2 (compulsory schooling, pre-vocational education); intermediate: ISCED 3–4 (apprenticeship, matura); high: ISCED 5–6 (university, other tertiary). Economic activity: Persons who indicated that they are mainly economically active.

Question wording: ‘How often do you use the internet, the World Wide Web or e-mail – whether at home or at work – for your personal use?’

Answer categories: ‘no access at home or work’, ‘never use’, ‘less than once a month’, ‘once a month’, ‘several times a month’, ‘once a week’, ‘several times a week’, ‘every day’. Percentages correspond to respondents using the internet more than once a week.
