Definitions/comments: Unemployment rate: part of unemployed (international definition: persons who have no work, are seeking a job and are ready to begin working) within the economically active population. Economically active population: employed persons and unemployed persons. Legend: in 1996 in Spain 30% of all economically active women were unemployed.
