Ecologist commitment in the last five years in % - Development in Switzerland 1994–2007 and by education 2007

Definitions/Comments: Educational levels: low: ISCED 0–2 (compulsory schooling, pre-vocational education); intermediate: ISCED 3–4 (apprenticeship, matura); high: ISCED 5–6 (university, other tertiary).

Question wording: ‘In the last five years, have you … signed a petition about an environmental issue? … given money to an environmental group? … taken part in a protest or demonstration, collected signatures or money, contributed in another way to the protection of the environment?’

Answer categories: ‘Yes I have’, ‘No I have not’. Percentages correspond to respondents who answered ‘Yes I have’.
