Question wording: ‘For the protection of the environment, different measures have been proposed. What do you think of the following measures? Compulsory particle filters for new diesel cars. Tax on petrol and diesel to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases. The receipts will be used to promote renewable energy (e.g. hydropower, bio fuels, solar energy) in Switzerland. No extensions of existing atomic power stations and no launch of new atomic power stations (Moratorium for atomic power stations). Temporary speed limit 80 km/h on motorways (reduction of ozone in summer). Road pricing / City toll charge for entry into the city centre or particular city areas in the biggest Swiss cities. Temporary speed limit 80 km/h on motorways (reduction of particulate matte in winter). Increased parking fees in cities to limit parking in the city. Speed limit 100 km/h on motorways’.
