Greenhouse gas emissions 1950–2005

Definitions/Comments: Greenhouse gases: Carbon dioxide (CO2), Methane (CH4), Nitrous oxide (N2O), synthetic gases. In 1990, the method of measuring CO2 was changed. CO2-equivalents: sum of all greenhouse gases; Non-CO2 emissions have been converted according to their global warming potential (IPCC 1999).
